Your generous support of our work will provide food, shelter, and hope to homeless adults, and will also help support and strengthen the greater community of lower Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Contributions from donors enable Shelter for the Homeless to provide emergency shelter, recovery services, employment development services, and transitional housing year-round. We help our clients tackle substantial life problems, which may include job loss, mental illness, and/or addiction in addition to their homelessness. With your support, we help over 550 individuals annually learn to lead dignified and more independent lives.
Shelter for the Homeless is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. When no goods or services are received in exchange for your donation, then gifts are tax deductible to the full extent as allowed by law.
